Boyce Byerly, Ph.D., is the Principal Consultant of Level 6 Analytics.   He is currently Professor in the Human Capital Program in the Business School at Bellevue University and at Michigan State University.  His research passions include human learning and cognition, and he has published numerous works on measurement and evaluation, including the recent book Human Capital Analytics:  How to Harness The Potential of Your Organization’s Most Important Resource.  He was the recent founder and Chief Scientist of Capital Analytics, where he lead the consulting and software engineering teams. He holds a Master’s in Computer Science and  a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Duke. He has recently served as Director of Predictive Analytics at Quintiles Transnational, and has completed dozens of projects in CME on diabetes, HIV, growth disorders, and many other diseases.    

Boyce founded Capital Analytics, where he led the consulting and software engineering teams.   His research passions include human learning and cognition, and he has published on measurement and evaluation, computer-supported collaborative work, and spatial cognition. He is a frequent speaker at conferences on measuring and evaluating human capital investments, with an emphasis on turning operational data into ROI.  His most recent appearances were at Corporate University week, the Society for Applied Learning Technologies conference, ASTD International, and the CLO symposium.  Clients in continuing education include The American Academy of CME, Peer xChange, Scherer Clinical Communications, and E&S MedEd Services.  His client list also includes Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Verizon, General Electric, Chrysler, Cisco, Deloitte, Dupont, Georgia Power, Knowledgenet,  IBM, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, Key Bank, US Bank, Wells Fargo, Quintiles, Citibank, Pfizer, ACS, the Defense Acquisition University, New York Life, Southern California Edison, Roche Pharmaceuticals, SBC Training, Con Agra, National Grid, the Omaha Chamber of Commerce, Mutual of Omaha, and VF Apparel.    He is a board member of Ecoland, a planned community of the future, and WHPN.
